Missing teeth can often affect our ability to eat and talk properly as well as impact on our appearance.
Whether you have a gap due to a single tooth missing or more, it may be possible to fill it. Below are options that may be possible.

Dentures
These are removable false teeth. They can replace as many teeth as necessary, whether it’s one tooth or all teeth. Dentures can be made of acrylic or metal for strength. The advantage of a denture is it’s less invasive than other options such as implants and come at a lower cost. It usually takes a few appointments to make the denture.
Bridges
A bridge is where the false tooth is fixed in the mouth and supported by adjacent teeth. There are two types, an adhesive bridge which is basically stuck on by a special cement, while a conventional bridge involves placing crowns on the adjacent teeth to which the false tooth is attached. Adhesive bridges may be good alternative when a patient prefers a fixed option but would like to avoid the invasive surgery and higher costs involved in implants or where implants are unsuitable.
Implants
A dental implant is a titanium rod that is placed into the jawbone, on which one or more false teeth are supported. It may be an ideal option when a fixed replacement is required without involving the adjacent teeth, assuming it is possible to place the implant . Surgery would be required for placement of the implant.
Orthodontic Treatment
This involves the movement of teeth by removable or fixed braces. Nowadays appliances are available that are not obviously visible on the smile.
Accept the Space
Sometimes accepting the space may be the best option for an individual, if the missing teeth have no impact on appearance or function. Many people manage with a space and go throughout life with no problems.
